This one was inspired by a pretty tasty beer made by Pike's Place Brewery out of Seattle. While I was sipping on a Monk's Uncle, I decided to make some soap with it and I am not disappointed! Perfect for hydrating dry skin and it smells amazing!
Beer is great for the skin!! Hops are known to contain skin-softening amino acids, which can help to soothe irritated skin, and the brewer's yeast used in making beer has antibacterial properties, which are said to help in the fight against acne. The Vitamin B that is present in beer will help to moisturize your skin.
Cleansing our bodies is a ritual on its own. Wash away the stress and pollution of the day and set your intentions for the next. My soaps are made the old-fashioned way, with cold process! My soaps don't contain any parabens, petroleum, detergents, chemicals, alcohol, or preservatives that are commonly found in commercially made soap.
Ingredients: Saponified olive and coconut oil, shea, mango, and cocoa butter blend, water, Monk's Uncle IPA from Pike's Place Brewery, Seattle, Wa.
